Being commissioned to created a pet portrait of Syd on a rock was a new challenge for me and one that I readily accepted. After learning the process to preserve the rock and Acrylics, I succeeded in capturing Syd essence. Being a little hesitate at first I soon got into the flow or perhaps I should say groove of the rock itself.

Owning Salukis and knowing they were bred to hunt Gazelle, I felt it was time to draw the wildlife that played an impact on my breed during the Pharaoh's time. The Gazelle is a swift and graceful.
